Caddis Larvae

CDC Caddis

Spotted Egg

Emerging Larvae

Goof Off

Whacky Wally

Mystery Fly

Stretch Tubbing Scud

Fly Tying Workstation

I bought a fly tying kit from LL Bean but before starting to tie my first flie I thought I needed a decent work station.

Build mostly from baltic birch plywood and cherry for the sliding trays, it fits nicely under my keyboard.
There's also plenty of room for a 2nd drawer to contain the mess or additional fly tying supplies.

Plenty of room for the materials that were included with the kit not to mention what additional items that I've purchased:

The sliding tray near the front collects cuttoffs from the fly tying process:

And it removes for easy disposal:

New Blog

Well, I guess after all these years it's time to start my own blog!

I'll use this as a place to share my interests (what steals my time away from my wonderfull wife)

Since I happen to have pictures of my FJ Cruiser in OBX I'll start there...
